The Women Who Mapped the Stars is a new play by Joyce Van Dyke that shares the untold story of the women who showed us that the universe is larger than we ever dreamed. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, a group of women astronomers working at the Harvard College Observatory made discoveries that changed the way we saw the universe, and helped change the role of women in science. It's the personal story of five remarkable women, and the relay race of scientific inquiry from scientist to scientist and generation to generation, toward ever greater light and truth.
